Impact of Speaking without Meaning
Sometimes in a meeting, we make a comment just for the sake of it. Might be that we are under pressure to say something for the sake of our position or role. Might be that we think, we will be perceived as a person with nothing to contribute, so we should speak something, should ask some question. Might be that we just want to be in agreement with rest of the group.
But speaking just for the sake of it, without adding value, without being aware of what you are saying and why you are saying, is disastrous. Never ever do it.
Rather be aware of what you are saying, mean it and say it with conviction.
