Organization Design

If you are an independent BU owner and have the responsibility to design your own organization, you should list down what is important, what is critical, what is it that you must deliver as a BU owner? Keep only those top level responsibilities with yourself and delegate all others. This is how you should design your organization.

Otherwise, if you yourself take less or more responsiblity, you will either don't know what is happening in your BU (in case you take less responsibility) or will be so overloaded(in case you take more responsibility) that you will not know what is happening outside of your organization.
